This is the mercy to keep the losing team from being embarrassed. God also has a "Mercy Rule". it is not dependent on points, teams or situations. It is always in effect and is available to all. God's mercy was there before it was needed. God showed His mercy when sent his son to die for our sins before we were ever born. Trust in God's mercy and love. Depend on God for He loves you more that you know and His mercy endures forever!
